Traffic, the thing that any blog operator would want more than everything he or she could imagine. The true income generator of blog it is.

A blog without traffic is not a blog. It is a pile of dump where no one seems to bother except for the smell and interruptions it cause. So how can you generate traffic to your site?

Comment.

The most simple thing that have been recommended to me by a fellow blog enthusiasts is to write comment at other blogs and at the end of the comment, put a link back to your site. i tried it on a few occasion and it work although it is hard to find a blog that will allow you publicly put link back to your site.

The place where you want to put these links should be on the blog which has only started to kick off, and of course, the one that have high numbers of readers. It may be tiresome but believe me, if you want to look more content for your site and at the same time boost numbers of readers of your site, do it hard or you will just make a mess.

One thing should be remembered though, you really have to post numbers of comments because there are only small possibilities for people to read your comment and click on the link. According to Steve on his website, only 1% of his 1 million readers wrote comment and less reads it.

The odds are small, but still possible, depending on the amount of comment that you post and the theme of the blog itself. My personal recommendation is not to post comments on site which have small numbers of comment and always, try to be the first commenter. You should also avoid blogs that delete links to other sites as it will only prove to be a waste of time.

Blog Carnival.

This is a place where you can post and get multiple streams of visitors to your site in no time. It is where you put numerous posts into one called “carnival”. Skeptical? Its alright to be so, but time will prove to you that it works. Mine did and why can’t yours be?

You just need to be careful on which carnival you want to join. Pick yours nicely and you are on you way to skyrocketed traffic streams. Determine the themes of your post and the rest is as easy as 1 2 3. Plus, its free and what is better than being free yet have no restriction of usage?

Article Panda have similar modus operandi as Blog carnival, except that instead of combining post, you just need to put a snippets at article panda and a link to your site will be provided each time a user search using Google. And it is also free!
